JEC World Villages

These Villages enable visitors to quickly identify the most innovative initiatives, players, and solutions in strategic areas of the composites sector. They serve as targeted showcases to highlight expertise, encourage high-quality exchanges with industrial, academic, or institutional partners, and support the development of new projects. By structuring the visitor experience around clear themes: natural fibers and bio-based materials, talent, startups, and SMEs, they improve orientation, enhance the visibility of the offering, and maximize the impact of professional interactions.

Each Village is fully aligned with JEC World's mission: connecting innovation ecosystems with market dynamics.

JEC Composites Villages

At JEC World 2026, the Villages are far more than traditional exhibition areas - they are true immersive ecosystems, designed to connect visitors directly with the very heart of innovation in composite materials. Organized around key themes - natural fibers, emerging talent, startups, and SMEs (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises).

They reflect the major transformations shaping the industry: sustainability, industrial transition, the rise of biocomposites, and the growing momentum of technology-driven entrepreneurship.

Bio Materials Village

Biobased Materials at the Heart of the Composites Transition

Biosourced, renewable, and circular materials are emerging as key drivers of sustainable transformation in the composite industry. The Bio Materials Village showcases innovative solutions based on natural fibers, bio-resins, and renewable resources that meet both eco-design requirements and industrial performance standards.
This Village aims to promote biosourced alternatives within a booming global composite market - including sectors such as mobility, construction, sports, and aerospace.

Key Highlights:
Focus on agricultural fibers from European sources, such as flax and hemp - genuine technical assets that are sustainable and compatible with advanced manufacturing processes.Discover an innovation ecosystem powered by industrial players, R&D centers, and committed experts.

With the participation of the Alliance for European Flax-Linen and Hemp, the leading agro-industrial reference bringing together 10,000 companies across 16 countries.

Campus & Careers Village

At the heart of industrial, environmental, and technological transitions, education plays a vital role in transforming the composites sector. With this in mind, JEC World has developed the Campus & Careers Village - a dedicated space that brings together students, academic institutions such as universities, industry experts, and recruiters. Far more than just an information area, this village shines a spotlight on the skills, academic pathways, and pedagogical approaches that are shaping the professionals of tomorrow.

The Campus & Careers Village enables students and recent graduates to connect directly with companies seeking qualified talent, while also exploring the wide range of careers available in the composites industry - from materials engineering and industrial production to innovation, applied research, and life cycle analysis. For recruiters, the village offers a unique opportunity to engage with a new generation of professionals trained to meet the industry’s current challenges, in a qualified and sector-focused environment.

Universities, engineering schools, and research centers showcase their educational programs in areas such as composite materials, green chemistry, advanced manufacturing processes, and the transition toward sustainable materials. For professionals - engineers, executives, and institutional stakeholders - the village is an opportunity to understand how academia is responding to strategic industry issues: circular economy, automation, decarbonization, emerging applications, and multi-material design.

By highlighting this convergence between higher education, recruitment, and forward-thinking perspectives, the Campus & Careers Village expresses a strong belief at the core of JEC: the future of composites depends on open dialogue between training, research, and industry. Building bridges across generations, fostering knowledge transfer, and strengthening the sector’s appeal are among the key goals embodied by this essential area of the show.

Startup Village

The Startup Village is a dedicated space reserved for startups in the composites industry. The area includes all finalists of the Startup Booster competition, where they can showcase their services and products, but is also open to any startup worldwide. It is a space to network and share new ideas.
