Are there free shuttles?

To facilitate your transfer to and from JEC World 2024, enjoy the FREE SHUTTLE Service on March 5-6-7, 2024 departing from:
  • Main hotels in the Convention center area (5 direct shuttle lines)
  • Main hotels in the CDG airport area (1 shuttle line)
  • Downtown Paris – Opera Station (Gluck Street) (1 shuttle line) and Porte Maillot Station (1 shuttle line)

Is there parking at Paris Nord Villepinte?

Exhibitor and visitor car parks are at your disposal at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.

You pay as you exit the car park.

For Exhibitor Car Park:
Please exit at Parc des Expositions - Accès Exposants - Livraisons. JEC World signage will also be available.

For Visitor Car Park: Please exit at Parc des Expositions - Accès Visiteurs. JEC World signage will also be available.

How can I join JEC World by public transportation, and by train?

The Paris Nord Villepinte venue has its own Station on the RER Line B named “Parc des Expositions”.

You can go to Paris Nord Villepinte (“Parc des Expositions” station) directly from:

From CDG Airport TGV station, take the RER line B towards Paris and get off at “Parc des Expositions".

From Paris Gare du Nord take RER line B towards “Aéroport Charles de Gaulle” and get off at “Parc des Expositions”. Trains run approximately every 8 minutes.

If you are reaching Paris BY TRAIN (National or International), find the trip from Paris Train Station at: https://www.jec-world.events/useful-info/access-show.

How can I join or leave JEC World by taxi or Uber?

A taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport to JEC World costs from €20 to €25. 
A taxi from JEC World to Paris costs from €50 to €55, excluding supplements and depending on the District.

These rates are for information only, and JEC World cannot be held responsible for them.
To facilitate their use, the city of Paris has established a new organization of taxi stations and introduced a unique telephone number: +33 1 45 30 30 30 (local communication rate).

Ask the driver to drop you off/ pick you up in front of the Hall 8 entrance.

Badge

How do I get an access badge for the JEC World show? 

If you are a visitor, you can create your account, and order your badge on the registration platform at https://registration.jec-world.events/pro
You can also use your account to order badges for your coworkers.

After having created your account, you can order your visitor badge on the welcome page. A button allows you to fill in the information from your account.

The visitor badge allows access to JEC World during the 3-day event.

If you are an exhibitor (an employee of an exhibiting company), please contact the person managing your company booth at JEC World, she/he will register you.

How much does a badge cost?

The JEC World visitor access badge is available at the following rates:
  • Free of charge until December 31, 2023
  • 55 euros incl. tax from January 1 to February 4, 2024
  • 85 euros incl. tax from February 5 to March 4, 2024
  • 110 euros incl. tax on site

I haven’t received my badge.

You can download your badge from your personal area on the registration website, on the welcome page. It has also been sent by email. Please check your spam box.

How can I modify my badge if I made a mistake or if I finally can not attend?

In compliance with the applicable General Terms of Sale, reimbursement is not possible.
However, if you cannot attend JEC World this year, we will be happy to transfer your ticket to a colleague or client free of charge before the show starts.

Are there conferences at JEC World?

Conferences will take place in 2 agoras during JEC World: Agora Hall 5 and Agora Hall 6. They are included in the badge fees.

What is the Buyer's Guide?

The Buyer's Guide (the official JEC World show catalogue) is an essential resource featuring all exhibitors and their key information details.

It is sold online in your personal area: https://registration.jec-world.events/pro and needs to be collected at the Publications store (Hall 6) during the event.

You can also decide to purchase it directly at JEC World, at the Publications store.

What is the Visitor’s Guide? 

The Visitor’s Guide includes the exhibition layout, the program, and the conferences that are organized during the event. It is inserted in the official show bags, displayed free of charge at the two entrances of JEC World.

What are the JEC Composites Innovation Awards?

The JEC Innovation Awards are a celebration of the most innovative composite projects worldwide and fruitful cooperation between the different players of the value chain.

The competition is open to any company, university or R&D Center with a strong collaborative innovation or concept to present.

The ceremony will take place online before JEC World, stay tuned!

What is the JEC Composites Startup Booster?

The JEC Composites Startup Booster is the leading startup competition in the world of Composites and Advanced Materials.
The competition is open to entrepreneurs, SMEs, startups, and academic spinoffs building innovative projects in the field of Composites & Advanced Materials.

JEC World welcomes about thirty startups in the Startup Village located at the entrance of Hall 6 and you can attend the pitch sessions and the ceremony in the Agoras.

What are the Villages ?

At JEC World 2024, many programs and showcase areas will be presented to let you exchange, discover, and find new business opportunities:
  • Natural Fibers Village: the strong growth of the composite market in multiple sectors creates key opportunities for biobased, renewable materials
  • Campus Village: an area dedicated to education and training
  • Startup Village: space reserved for startups in the composites industry

What is the Live Demo Area?

At JEC World 2024 a new showcase area will be added: the Live Demo area.

The area (in Hall 6) will display composite parts Production demonstration by exhibitors with a variety of processes used in the industry such as: Infusion, RTM, 3D printing and many others. 

Live demonstrations and training sessions will be held in English and French. (English demos will be translated into French)

How can I find a job during JEC World? 

An online platform called “Job Center” is available on our website: https://job-center.jeccomposites.com/index.php?action=list_jobs.
You can also visit the "Campus Village" at JEC World. The Campus Village is aimed at the younger generation and anyone wishing to improve his expertise.

What are the opening hours of the show?

The JEC World 2024 opening hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., from March 5 to 6, 2024, and from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m on March 7, 2024.

How do I get to the show? 

Well located near Paris, at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. JEC World is easy to reach.

What are the dates and times for set-up and dismantling?

If you have a bare stand, set-up starts on March 3, 2024, at 7 a.m.
If you have an equipped stand, it will be delivered on March 4, 2024, at 9 a.m.

Stand dismantling begins on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 6 p.m.
You will find additional information on your exhibitor’s platform at https://exhibitors.jec-world.events in the Technical Guide section. 

Can I come with my children?

The show is designed for a professional audience and incorporates industrial machineries in live usage.
Children under 16 are not allowed to attend. There is no service for supervising children.

Can I come with an animal?

Animals are not admitted to the show, except guide dogs for the blind and disabled.

How can I pay onsite?

You can pay by credit card.

Are there discounts for the hotels?

Is there a Wifi network at JEC World?

The free WiFi network (limited to four hours) is VIPARIS_WIFI.

What about cloakrooms at JEC World?

The cloakroom rates are: €2 for an item of clothing, €3 for a bag, and €4 for luggage.
There is a cloakroom at the Hall 6 entrance and 2 at the Hall 5 entrance, one for the luggage and one without.
VIP guests are invited to leave their belongings at the VIP and Delegations entrance (Hall 6).

Is there parking available?

Parking is free during set-up and dismantling periods.
For access to the delivery areas, all vehicles, regardless of type, must be registered « Logipass » site at https://logipass.viparis.com.
During JEC World, you need to book an exhibitor parking at the VIParis store at https://www.viparisstore.com.

What are the access conditions at JEC World for the disabled?

For all information concerning access for the disabled onsite, please call the following number: +33 6.14.16.93.84.
Wheelchairs are also available upon request at the Exhibitor's Office (Hall 6).

Is there a place for lost items?

Lost items are kept at the Exhibitor’s Office located in Hall 6.

Is there a medical center?

There is an infirmary on the ground floor of Hall 6. Call +331.48.63.31.16.

I am a journalist, how it works?

If you are a journalist and want to come and join us, please contact our communication service to receive your Media badge: [email protected].
Journalists can assist JEC World during the 3-day event. The Press Club, journalists dedicated area, is located on the mezzanine in Hall 6.

What about sanitary measures?

The JEC team is looking forward to welcoming you at JEC World.
To enable the delivery of a safe, hygienic, productive, and high-quality event, we have developed a series of measures under the name of JEC Protect.

Is there a test center during JEC World?

To help in the fly back home or return trip preparation, a test center is available in the
Paris  Nord Villepinte gallery, at the entrance of Hall 1. No appointment is needed.
Opening hours from 5 to 7 March 2024: 8 am – 4 pm.
Test fees (please pay by credit card): Antigenic: €30 incl. VAT / PCR: €44 incl. VAT
Time to get the result:
- Antigenic: about 15 min
- PCR: max +24h at the time of collection of the sample

Who should I contact, if I see suspicious behavior or anything related to security?

If you see suspicious behavior or anything else related to security, please contact +33 1.48.63.35.35 or go to see the Exhibitor's Office (Hall 6).

What about resting areas, eating areas, and smocking ones?

Several resting and eating areas are available at JEC World.
Smoking inside the show is forbidden.
You may smoke outside the halls or in the Hall 5 patio.

Is there a concierge service?

There is a concierge service available to meet Exhibitors' and VIPs' needs.
The conciergerie will be at their service during JEC World:
• at the VIP entrance (Hall 6)
• at the Exhibitor's Office (Hall 6)
• in the VIP Lounge (Hall 5)

I’m a VIP; what are the advantages?

VIPs have the following advantages:

Visa Letters

How do I obtain a visa letter?

First of all, register for the show (https://registration.jec-world.events/pro). Next, prepare your letter requesting a visa by connecting to your personal area and filling in the corresponding form in the "Visa Letter" section. The visa letter creation is only available after having ordered the visitor badge.
