Virginie DECOTTIGNIES
Biography:
With 23 years of experience in waste characterization and management, Virginie Decottignies is the head of the Material Recycling & Recovery department at SUEZ CIRSEE research centre. She is involved with her team, in internal and collaborative research projects related to the characterization of waste (plastics, solid wastes and industrial liquid effluents) and the development of new ways of materials recycling and recovery from waste. Current projects cover End of Life products dismantling, materials sorting and mechanical / chemical processes to recover materials from waste, focusing on metals, plastics, and composite materials.
