Biography:

Tim Burbey is Co-Founder and President of Blueshift, a market leader in cutting edge thermal protection systems for air and space craft. Burbey brings more than 30 years of experience to the role having started, scaled, and integrated businesses within the international material sciences ecosystem. He has led Blueshift’s transformation from an early-stage start-up into an advanced materials company with flight and space-proven commercial products developed in collaboration with leading OEMs. Prior to launching Blueshift, Burbey held a range of senior leadership roles at Inabata, a $6 billion publicly traded international conglomerate. A resident of Connecticut, Burbey earned a degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Columbia University.
