About JEC

Our activities started back in 1963 with the creation of the first information bulletin, published by the CPC (Centre de Promotion des Composites in French) a non-profit association dedicated to the promotion of composite materials and to the development of their markets. The association became the JEC Composites Promotion College in 2020.

The JEC SAS company was created in December 1996 as a subsidiary of the JEC Composites Promotion College association and has developed its activities since then to become the leading international organization entirely dedicated to the promotion of the composite materials industry and of their applications. In 1965, a first conference on Composites has been created, which over time became JEC World, the leading international composites show.
