Dr. Talha J. Pirzada is a Research and Technology Manager at Cross Manufacturing Ltd., a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and a Fellow at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford. With over a decade of experience in the aerospace, automotive, and power generation sectors, he specializes in materials for high-temperature applications. As a Lecturer at Oxford, his research focuses on Ceramic Matrix Composites for aerospace and defense, examining the resilience of materials in harsh environments. Talha's work is dedicated to advancing the UK's capabilities in developing cutting-edge ceramic matrix composite materials for these critical industries.
