Severine BOYER

CNRS Researcher, MINES Paris PSL / CNRS
France

Biography :

CNRS researcher at MINES Paris/PSL – CEMEF, UMR CNRS 7635 (France).
Activities relating to Functional Microstructures: carried out from fundamental to finalized studies on the mechanisms of polymorphogenesis of new generation of hybrid structural systems (synthetic and natural) in order to develop or recycle functional and original materials.
Experimental chain models and associated/original modeling schemes are developed depending on the multi-scale structure, from the chemical-molecular size to the structural size, in complex and extreme environments (diffusion phenomenon, thermodynamic equilibrium or not, etc.).

About CEMEF :

CEMEF: a research lab. of MINES Paris I PSL University associated with CNRS, the French National Centre for Scientific Research (Unité Mixte de Recherche CNRS, UMR7635).

Missions are research and training in collaboration with industry. Research focuses specifically on materials and their transformation processes. It extends additionally to other fields such as fluid mechanics, biomechanics or HPC for instance. On the other hand, training programs offer post-graduate courses related to the scientific fields of expertise.
