

Samuel DURAND
Biography
After a degree in mechanical engineering, Samuel DURAND began working as a calculation engineer in the field of wind power, automotive and in a technical center. In 2006, he created the MECA engineering design office. The first significant applications in the building sector in 2010 concerned the composite roofs of HHR stations in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah and Mecca). A few years later, it was the domes of the Russian Center in Paris and more recently the facade of the Berkeley building and the pergolas of Larvotto in Monaco. Samuel DURAND is a member of the European group TC250/WG4 in charge of developing the Eurocode on composite materials.
