Saeed ALSHIHRI
Biography
Dr. Saeed Alshihri is currently the vice president for Energy and Industry at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. He is a board member of The Saudi Geological Survey. He is Also a board member of the Oil Sustainability Program. He is leading different steering committees for joint activities with private sector including Maaden, Acwapower and Lucid. In a previous role, he was the director of Materials Science Research Institute at KCST. Before that, he held different positions including director of national laboratories and manager of the national center for petrochemical at KACST. He also led the joint center of excellence with UC Berkeley for Nanomaterial for Clean Energy Applications. Dr. Alshihri received his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London in the United Kingdom.
