Biography: 

Ruairi O’Kane, PhD, is a global expert in advanced composite materials and sustainable chemistry with more than 20 years of experience driving innovation across the aerospace and industrial sectors. As Global Director of Product Management at Toray Advanced Composites, his work integrates technology development, market strategy, product management to accelerate adoption of next-generation composite technologies. Ruairi previously served as Senior Technical Director at Origin Materials, where he advanced biobased carbon materials and specialty chemicals. Earlier roles at Henkel saw him lead major technology and product development programs. Ruairi holds a PhD in Organometallic Chemistry and is recognized for advancing sustainable materials and translating material science innovations into scalable, commercial solutions.
