Rajesh BALAKRISHNAN
Biography:
Rajesh currently oversees the Advanced Materials Division at the Aditya Birla Group. He blends deep technical expertise with business acumen honed at BASF, DyStar and Pidilite. He has held senior roles at BASF across Asia Pacific culminating in leading Performance Chemicals for BASF in Bangladesh. He also served as MD & President South Asia at DyStar and Chief Business Officer at Pidilite. With specific interest in sustainability and skill development, he has played a pivotal role in formation of the Advanced Academy for Development of Textile Technologists and the Consortium for Green Fashion as collaborative industry initiatives. He has actively advocated for industry-wide growth as the Vice President Textile Association of India, Governing Council Member of the Furniture & Fittings Skill Council of India and continues to do so as a member of the WBCSD's Circular Products & Materials Pathway Board.
