Biography:

Niklas Garoff is the founder and managing director of Carbon Ecolution Limited, a consultancy company that assists clients in identifying and commercializing new business opportunities through the refinement of renewable raw materials into advanced products. He currently works exclusively for Baotou Zhongyuan Bio-Based New Material Co., Ltd with respect to the technical development and commercialization of their novel man-made high-performance cellulose-based fiber, Suncell™, for different advanced applications. Niklas Garoff holds a PhD degree in Paper Technology and a MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and spent most of his professional career in the forest industry where he held different managerial positions. He has extensive experience in project management related to biorefinery-based business development.
