Biography:

Mike Gromacki contributed 30+ years in advanced materials, 25+ in composites, since graduating in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. His industrial career began in TOTAL Resins Division in 1997, with Director roles in QHSE and Manufacturing, and VP. In 2009, he joined Dixie Chemical, rising to President in 2016. In February 2020, he joined Olin as Global Director of Wind and Composites, leading its profitable growth and partnerships. In February 2022, as President/CEO he led a turnaround of McCLARIN Composites, a Tier 1 composites supplier in Mobility and Built Environment. Mike's influence extends to industry boards including as the ACMA Chair Elect. He has championed sustainability, with leadership in Texas Industries of the Future and US Business Council for Sustainable Development and was recognized with awards such as TOTAL Prix de l’Innovation and US EPA Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge, and protagonist in a Harvard Business School Case.
