The Composite Technology Center / CTC GmbH, based in Stade, is a 100% subsidiary of Airbus. As Airbus' lightweight technology center in Germany, we develop holistic lightweight solutions and industrial technologies for sustainable mobility of the future, with a strong focus on aviation, from the initial idea to series production. An interdisciplinary and agile team with over 20 years of experience in the field of composites and lightweight design offers a wide range of technologies and methods. This portfolio is complemented by prototype construction, test production facilities and pre-industrial series production on over 3,500 m² of certified technical center space with a wide range of lightweight technologies. At its core, the CTC develops innovative technologies for the industrial and automated processing of composites, especially CFRP. CTC also develops technologies and holistic solutions for other industries within the scope of development and consulting projects.
