Biography

Malcolm Forsyth has been the Sustainability Manager at the Composites UK Trade Association since January 2021, having previously worked for the association on a range of projects on a consultancy basis. He has been involved in the Composites market for over 20 years, holding a series of executive roles at resin supplier Scott Bader with responsibility for business unit performance, global strategy and ultimately sustainability, leading the development of a 20-year sustainability vision and action plan for Scott Bader in 2017. Since 2019, Malcolm has been providing consultancy services in strategy and sustainability to a wide variety of industries and is an associate consultant of the Sustainable Growth Associates pan-European network. With a degree in chemical engineering, and more than 35 years' experience in the chemicals and composites sectors, he brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to the Composites UK Sustainability focus and activities.
