About the AVIC Composite Technology Center:

The AVIC Composite Technology Center (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) was established based on the composite materials research and production capabilities of the former Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials and Beijing Aeronautical Manufacturing Technology Research Institute under the Aviation Industry Corporation of China. This was done to centralize elite resources to form the core capabilities for aviation composite material development, thereby supporting and leading the transformative advancement in the research and application of aviation composite materials in China through specialized integration of business and resources. The Center primarily undertakes foundational research into exploratory and innovative applications of resin-based, ceramic-based, and carbon-based composite materials.
