Cost-effective, flexible and fast – industries such as aircraft construction, commercial vehicle construction and automobile construction are increasingly relying on production environments that adapt to changing customer demand without significant effort. Since September 2010, scientists in the “Automation and Production Technology” department at the CFK Nord research center at the Stade site have been developing modular solutions for realizing adaptable production.
