Biography:

John Hanna is a mechanical engineer specializing in advanced numerical simulation and artificial intelligence. He holds a PhD from École Centrale de Nantes, conducted in collaboration with the IRT Jules Verne, where his research focused on the simulation of composite manufacturing processes. His expertise lies at the intersection of physics-based modeling, computational mechanics, and machine learning, with a strong emphasis on industrial applications. John has authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications and actively participates in international conferences to stay at the forefront of research and industrial innovation. He is the founder and CTO of Akhet Solutions, a startup supported from the Inria Startup Studio, where he leads the development of hybrid AI–physics simulation technologies aimed at accelerating and improving industrial engineering workflows for Liquid composite molding.
