Biography: 

Greg joined GE Aerospace in 2007 as a materials engineer for development of polymer matrix composite (PMC) materials in the fan and booster module. During his time with GEA, Greg has supported PMC fan blades and fan platforms as well as advanced design concepts for fan cases, vanes, booster components, and other PMC hardware for commercial and military programs. Greg is currently the Chief Consulting Engineer for Composite Materials with broad technical responsibility for polymer and ceramic composite materials supporting fielded engines and new product development programs. Greg attended The University of Southern Mississippi, graduating in 1999 and 2005 with a B.S. and Ph.D., respectively, in Polymer Science and Engineering. In addition to his technical and leadership responsibilities, Greg has been active in several external collaboration programs as well as with the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering
