Biography: 

Fang Du is an Associate Research Scientist at Dow. In her current role, she is part of the polyurethane product R&D team, focusing on new product development in the industrial segment, including composites and elastomers. She joined Dow in 2018 as a Research Assignment Program (RAP) participant in Correggio, Italy, contributed to diverse projects including polyurethane rigid foam, silicone product development for beauty care, and heterogeneous catalyst formulation in hydrocarbons R&D She holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the Free University of Berlin and a master's from East China Normal University. Throughout her academic careers and 6+ years in the chemical industry, she has developed several patented products and over 8 external publications.
