Eimear is the CTO and co-founder of Lios, a leader in advanced acoustic materials. With a masters in Physics from The University of Edinburgh, she co-founded Lios with Rhona Togher to revolutionise noise reduction. At Lios, Eimear has spent over a decade developing SoundBounce, an advanced acoustic material that transforms how industries approach noise control — from automotive and aerospace to construction and heavy industry. Eimear is passionate about deep tech, innovation, and sustainability, and she thrives at the intersection of R&D and real world impact, ensuring Lios' solutions don’t just work in the lab but make a tangible difference in people’s lives. In her role as CTO she has grown the business through successful customer pilots, commercial and technical partnerships, and helped expand our team of passionate experts.
