Dirk studied mechanical engineering at the University of Paderborn (Germany) and made his PhD in the field of laser welding of thermoplastics. After some short trips into extrusion industry and consulting business, he found his hub at Bond-Laminates GmbH in 2013 as Head of R&D. One of his favorite topics always was textile technologies. Therefore he was in charge e.g. for the material development of worlds´ first full plastic brake pedal which is made of multiaxial reinforced organosheet and de-accelerating the Porsche 918 Spyder and further sports cars. Since 2021, he´s now responsible for Global Product Management and Marketing Tepex for the Bond-Laminates and its new mother company Envalior.
