Biography :

Claude Despierres is Vice President of Sales and Marketing for all Industrial Business at Hexcel. With over 30 years experience in advanced materials and composites on a global level, Claude has held a number of senior management positions within Hexcel including Sales, Marketing and Business Development roles. Having initially studied Composites and Thermoplastics at the Ecole des Mines de Douai, France, Claude went on to complete an MBA in International Trade at Emlyon and a master’s in Advanced Industrial Marketing Strategy at the prestigious INSEAD business school. A specialist in the development and application of prepreg materials across key industrial markets, Claude’s current position at Hexcel covers a broad spectrum of dynamic sectors including Wind Energy, Energy Storage, Marine, Sports, Automotive and Civil Engineering composites.
