Biography:

Christian studied in Hamburg and St Etienne and completed his doctorate in materials science. After about 10 years in the industry, he founded Comprisetec. Ramp-up, growth. Then a successful exit. Compristec is now a specialist in lightweight construction, plastics and fibre composites. Besides of high-tec composites for aviation and automotive he focusses on the increased use of bioplastics, production using 3D printing and the cradle-to-cradle approach.

About CompriseTec:

Founded in 2006, CompriseTec is a specialist in polymer and fibre composite technologies. Around 30 technologists work on projects and products in four areas: Integrated product development, material development/analysis, process development and prototyping/production. As part of numerous industrial projects, Comprisetec co-operates directly with OEMs and 1st tier. Prototypes and initial samples are realised in a newly established technical centre and series components are produced in small to medium quantities. Larger series are produced via extended workbenches. Customers are predominantly technology leaders in the automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering and medical technology industries.
