Biography :

Dr. Chris Skinner is the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and R&D for the Composites business of Owens Corning. In this role, he is responsible for developing and executing strategies focused on creating growth in building/construction, infrastructure, and renewable energy. Dr. Skinner and his team lead the product lines, brand/customer experience, commercial excellence, and strategy in partnership with commercial/manufacturing teams. He is also responsible for the global R&D team for the Composites business. Before joining Owens Corning in 2009, he served as VP of Strategic Marketing for the Rhodia Polyamide Business based in Lyon, France, and worked for more than 10 years at ICI/Huntsman Polyurethanes in various international assignments in technology/marketing. Dr. Skinner graduated from Open University Business School with an MBA in 2001. He also holds a Ph.D. and B.Sc. (Hons.) in chemistry from the University of Durham, U.K.
