Biography

Chris Hsieh holds an M.S. in Chemical Engineering major in Polymer Composites from National Tsing Hua University. He joined SWANCOR in 2008 and has since held roles including R&D manager, international sales director in resin business, and Assistant VP of the carbon fiber composite business. With extensive expertise in thermoset and carbon fiber composites, he is now focused on advancing the application of recyclable thermosetting CFRP.

Swancor was established in 1992, providing vinyl ester resin for industrial anti-corrosion and epoxy resin, adhesives and carbon fiber composites for wind blade application. With 32 years of thermosetting resin experience, Swancor has developed the innovative recyclable thermosetting epoxy resin system EzCiclo and degradation liquid CleaVER. Swancor is willing to share the technology and knowledge in recyclable material, composite recycling and reuse of the recycled material to build an ecosystem of recyclable thermosetting composites.
