Benjamin DERSOIR
Biography:
Benjamin Dersoir is an engineer specializing in industrial vision, holding a PhD from the University of Rennes 1 in physics and photonics. He began his career as a doctoral researcher at the University of Rennes 1 from 2011 to 2015, during which he also worked as a physics instructor, teaching first-year students. Following his PhD, he served as a research engineer at CNRS from 2014 to 2015 before returning to the University of Rennes 1 as a research engineer from 2015 to 2016. From 2016, Benjamin has been an R&D project manager at Edixia Automation in Rennes, leveraging his expertise in laser physics, image processing, and machine vision applied to composites inspection. He is now product manager at Testia Rennes in charge of the composites, carbon fiber and assembly inspection by vision.
