Biography

Bandar Ashrour leads NEOM’s Design & Construction sector, spearheading the transition of a highly industrialized construction industry toward faster, greener, and more cost-effective innovative solutions. His sector operates as a living lab for cutting-edge technology and advanced material research. Bandar focuses on ensuring that all new materials, methods, and technologies are rigorously tested on-ground, provide a compelling financial edge, and meet NEOM’s circular economy standards before wider implementation across projects. A King Abdulaziz University graduate with a background in electrical and biomedical engineering, Bandar has successfully led multi-million-dollar projects at KAUST and held senior positions at NEOM in Security, Community Services, and NEOM Operations. Under his leadership, NEOM Bay Airport was upgraded to become NEOM’s first commercially licensed airport.
