Antonio NANNI
Biography:
Nanni’s research interests include construction materials, their structural performance and field application with a focus on the sustainability of buildings and civil infrastructure. During the past 40 years, He has studied concrete and advanced composite-based systems as the principal investigator on many research projects. His research in materials and structures has impacted the work of technical committees in the US and abroad. Nanni serves on the editorial board of three technical journals, published extensively in refereed journals, and co-authored two books. Nanni has received many awards including the 2023 ACMA Academic Pioneer Award. He was elected President of the American Concrete Institute for the term 2023-24. Fellow of four technical societies, he is registered professional engineer in Italy and Florida, Pennsylvania, Missouri and Oklahoma.
