Andrea FAGGIANI
Biography :
Andrea Faggiani graduated with an MEng Degree at Imperial College London in the Department of Aeronautics. Following this, he completed a PhD with thesis title “Optimization of Postbuckling Stiffened Composite Structures” in the same department, following which he continued his research in the field of composite materials at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. In 2010, back in the UK, he started his Formula One experience lasting 13 years, at Renault F1 Team, Red Bull Technology, and McLaren Racing. This covered various roles in the realm of structural design, most recently as Deputy Head of Structural Design at McLaren Racing. In September 2023, Andrea moved back to his native Italy, appointed in the role of Head of Composite Materials and Technologies Centre at Automobili Lamborghini.
