Adrian Gheata is a 27-year-old chemist specializing in silica-based coatings and nanomaterials. He completed his PhD at EPFL in Switzerland, focusing on the use of functionalized nanoparticles for cancer treatment. Currently, Adrian serves as the lead chemist at NGNT Material Sciences SA, a start-up dedicated to developing innovative ceramic nano-composite coatings. NGNT aims to enhance and protect materials for a variety of industries, including automotive, marine, and aerospace. In his role, Adrian oversees production and R&D, combining his passion for research with a drive to bring cutting-edge technologies to market. With a broad skill set honed through his academic studies and professional projects, he is eager to share how NGNT is advancing the field of material science.
