Introducing Cetex® TC1005, Toray’s latest PEI-based composite, designed to deliver an outstanding balance of performance and value. Available with a variety of reinforcements, including Toray T700 standard-modulus carbon fiber and glass fiber, TC1005 leverages polyetherimide for exceptional toughness and inherent fire, smoke, and toxicity (FST) performance. Ideal for aircraft interiors and industrial applications with stringent fire-safety requirements, such as rail.

Additionally, Toray’s existing Cetex® TC1000 PEI system is now offered with Toray T700 standard modulus and Toray’s newest intermediate modulus carbon fiber T1100, providing tailored stiffness and strength for structural applications, while maintaining excellent FST performance.
