Sustainable Materials for FRP Applications

This session presents recent advances in sustainable materials for the FRP market, including recyclable infusion and pultrusion resin systems, adhesives, and bio-plastics. Attendees will review Techstorm’s Vitrimer polymer–based recyclable resins and adhesives, with updates on commercialization of the recycling process. The presentation will include examples and video demonstrating low-temperature solution degradation of epoxy, urethane, and acrylic systems, along with new developments in bio-based structural core materials, and conclude with future work toward sustainable FRP.
