This presentation will highlight the lab's capabilities regarding the innovative recycling methods developed at R-NanoLab for end-of-life composite materials, emphasizing sustainable practices to recover valuable fibres and repurpose the resin liquid wastes. Utilizing chemical and thermal recycling techniques, including solvolysis under supercritical conditions and pyrolysis, the lab focuses on enhancing circularity while minimizing environmental impact. Key advancements include optimized depolymerization processes for reinforced composites and the successful recovery of high-quality fibers for reuse. These methods address challenges in composite waste management, aligning with global efforts toward resource efficiency and sustainability.
