Innovative Components for Formulators: Advancing Curing and Toughening

Huntsman will unveil innovative formulator components at this year's JEC World exhibition. A new generation of mercaptan technology will be introduced, complementing the renowned GABEPRO® and CAPCURE® brands and offering enhanced properties such as higher lap shear strength, improved elongation, and increased hot-wet resistance. The presentation will cover epoxy-methacrylate resins that combine epoxy’s mechanical properties with the fast-curing capabilities of methacrylates, and a new ETBN reactive liquid elastomer, providing formulators with enhanced flexibility and minimal impact on Tg and viscosity for optimized toughening solutions.
