A sustainable transition to long fiber thermoplastic for critical stormwater infrastructure:

Rainwater infrastructure plays an important role in dealing with the increasingly frequent heavy rains.

Dieffenbacher and Xerxes accepted the challenge of implementing the fully automated production of long-fiber-reinforced Stormwater systems while simultaneously replacing thermoset material by a thermoplastic long-fiber-reinforced composite. A strong cooperation and trust between both partners have been the key for the success of this journey.

In interaction with the new digitalization platform, an energy and resource efficient production concept for the production of stormwater systems has been realized.
