European CMC from Prepreg to Prototypes & MMC from Design to Demonstrator

3M will be presenting with two companies who are experts in the field of CMC and MMC. Cross Manufacturing Company will describe their journey to producing prepreg Ox/Ox using Nextel 610/720 Fabrics and processing these into a real world finished prototype nose cone and body.

TISICS will provide their journey from TRL 1- TRL6 for Titanium SiC MMC landing gear component in twin aisle and the technology road map from TRL 2- TRL6 for Nextel 610 and aluminium MMC for landing gear components for single aisle.
