Composite Research and Education at EPFL

 EPFL counts about 12'000 students covering topics ranging from architecture to basic sciences, life sciences, computer sciences and engineering. Composite training is obtained mostly through Civil, Materials science or Mechanical engineering studies, with dedicated courses, projects in laboratories or student associations. Two main laboratories conduct composite research: the Composite Construction Lab in the Civil Engineering Institute, and the Laboratory for Processing of Advanced Composites in the Institute of Materials. These will be presented, as well as highlights of current student projects.
