Bismaleimide (BMI) composites find application in the aerospace industry in demanding high temperature applications thanks to elevated thermomechanical performance compared to commonly used epoxy resins. Solvay continues to push the envelope of BMI resin performance to serve expanding market needs. This presentation describes the development and properties of a novel BMI system that brings improvements over legacy products in terms of thermal performance and processing.
