High performance thermoplastic bicycle frame
While many in the industry claim recyclability, few have taken real steps to implement it. Our innovation turns those claims into action. Through our closed-loop recycling process, we reuse production waste—specifically, trimmings from blank cuts—to create new frame components. This dramatically reduces material waste and represents a meaningful step towards a circular economy.
Why and Whom
Our innovation is a high-performance thermoplastic carbon frame that reuses production waste through a closed-loop process. It combines elite performance with true sustainability, paving the way for circular production and marking the first step toward a fully sustainable manufacturing model.

Key Benefits
REIN4CED has developed the closed-loop production process with early R&D support from the KU Leuven. This innovative process recycles in-house production waste into a high-performance compound, which is then used into a new bike frame, reducing material waste. In collaboration with Focus Bikes (PON.bike), this bicycle will be brought to market and combines sustainability with top-tier performance.
