Genesis of your product. why and for whom?

This demonstrator was created to challenge the limits of Woodoo forming and overmoulding, as well as electronics integration. Woodoo is using Marquardt''s expertise in smart surfaces to validate its technology for automotive use.

The primary benefit of using our composite products is the digitalization of natural and authentic materials. This also emphasises "shy tech" while remaining sustainable and enhances the customer''s experience inside the cabin.

The product : materials and processes

This demonstrator is an automotive part for the centre console interior. For the design, we formed our translucent wood sheet, SLIM. The wood species used is Natural Dark Grey Tulipwood.
